Ms. Classic United America 2007 Kathy Lauer

Kathy Lauer was crowned the first Ms. Classic United America. Kathy is an archaeologist and children's program instructor at Old Pueblo Archaeology Center in Tucson. Prior to moving to Arizona in 2005, she worked as a park ranger at Boston National Historical Park.
Kathy studied archaeological field methods at Pima Community College. She holds an M.B.A. in management and a B.A. in psychology from the University of Cincinnati. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa honorary fraternity.
Kathy volunteers her time for several organizations including Passport in Time,
a USDA Forest Service program which helps to preserve and protect America's historical and archaeological resources. She is also a regular platelet donor at the American Red Cross, and encourages others to consider this special way of donating blood to help patients with life-threatening illnesses such as cancer.
Kathy and her husband, Buck, have been married 20 years, and reside in Marana, Arizona.
