Dear Annette,

I just wanted to take a moment to tell you wonderful we thought the United America Pageant was this past weekend. The girls were treated so special with several fun outings before the competition began. The red carpet was rolled out with limos and fabulous dinner at Cannoli Joe's. Saturday was a blast with a trip to Steiner Clubhouse with yummy fajitas and meeting Bobby Steiner. I think our favorite was the gorgeous Oasis with that incredible view and gourmet snacks.

We met some outstanding women this weekend and Blair has emailed and facebooked several already! The level of competition was stiff as there were some really outstanding candidates in every category. Vanessa as always was charming and helpful at every turn. The previous queens were encouraging and helped with jokes and laughter! Thanks so much Annette for the hard work and dedication to the pageant.

We look forward to an exciting year filled with much more. We are already working on some things at The Network Foodbank and Childrens Home and will email you details when the dates are set. We love that this pageant is about VOLUNTEERISM as a primary objective. This is evident when you meet the newly crowned queens who have a long list of organizations they support!

Thank You,
Sharon Lynch - Mother of Miss Teen UA 2009, Blair Lynch

Hi Everyone!

I hope all of you made it home safely! I am back in sunny and warm AZ…I think I finally defrosted from my trip to Austin! I just wanted to say what a wonderful time I had this weekend! It was great to meet those of you I did not know yet, and to my old friends, great to spend the time with you!

To my 2008 queens, I will really cherish ALL our memories; those we had together and the ones we shared from half way across the country  thank you for making this year so wonderful! To the 2009 queens, I wish you all the best. I know each of you will accomplish amazing things this year and I can’t wait to hear about all you do and the lives you will touch. Cherish every moment because it is over in the blink of an eye!

I would like to share photos from the weekend with you all…any suggestions on what site to upload them to? One that is user friendly  I hope you all will share yours with the group as well!

Please keep in touch and I wish everyone of you all the best!!!!!

Love,
Gina

Dear Miss Annette,

I wanted to drop a line to tell you how much fun I had at the 2009 United America Pageant!  I made so many new friends, did so many fun things, and it was wonderful to finally get to see the Oasis!  Your pageant is so much more than a pageant, it's about women coming together and doing positive things with their lives in order to make a difference in the world.  Thank you for giving us a place to showcase our achievements, community service and talents.  I am so proud to be your Ms. Texas, and I look forward to the year ahead!

Thank you again!
Fondly,
Shaune S. Stauffer

Hi Miss Annette!

I'm sure you're just as exhausted as we are today!  I just wanted to send you a quick note saying "thank you" for an amazing weekend!  I had an incredible time.  I am really looking forward to getting the scoring feedback as I know this will help me identify where I fell short and what I can improve on for next year.  I have really enjoyed being part of the United America system for the past couple of years, and am looking forward to a fun-filled remaining year as Mrs. Texas United America!

Oh, and please let me know if you need judges for UA prelims, I should be available.  Also keep me posted if you hear of anything else going on in Texas that you'd like me to attend.  I want to do all I can as Mrs. Texas before next June!

Hugs!

Hello Miss Annette!

I just wanted to thank you for the opportunity to compete in the  United America pageant this weekend.  After a 20 year hiatus, it was  quite an experience and I was humbled and honored to be in the company of the exemplary women who were also competing.  In a word:  WOW!  I'm  looking forward to keeping in touch with many of the ladies and  following their reigns.
